Sarah and Matthew Murray

Based near Carindale in the eastern suburbs of Brisbane, Murray Photography is run by husband and wife team, Matthew and Sarah Murray. Our vision is to delight our clients with beautiful portraits that they’ll cherish forever.

Matthew

Matthew was born and raised in Brisbane but moved to the UK in his early 20s and lived there for over a decade.

During his time in the UK, Matthew trained with many famous names in the British photographic industry including portrait photographer Annabel Williams, wedding and portrait photographer Damien Lovegrove, Lightroom and Photoshop guru Marko Nurimen and Nikon expert Jon Clements.

Matthew is an emerging member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP).

Sarah

Sarah is from Wolverhampton, England. Before the birth of the couple’s first child Elodie in May 2008, she was a personal assistant in local government, working for high profile bosses such as the Leader of Walsall Council. She now spends her time organising Matthew and looking after Elodie and MJ.
